do these guys ever meditate and develop chi energy, is that y there strike are so deadly or are they using pressure points.either way i want to learn this.
Systema has go to be My favorate martial art i curently practice doce pares eskrima and have use systema instructional dvds to learn from I WISH THERE WAS A SYSTEMA SCHOOL WHERE I LIVE!!
If your background is kung fu then your system(systema) will have a Kung fu feel
At the siminar I went to their was guys from all back grounds and as I paired up with each of them during the siminar with out asking I knew instantly what their back ground was.The system adds to your pervious knowledge and helps make sense of what you were taught before
But as a whole the system comes off more tai chi or a more laid back verion of aikido with a bit fist fighting
I am guessing he was a qualifield Karate teacher before he became a Systema teacher or he could be sharing the Dojo with either Karate or and Aikido Teacher.I think he lives in New York
